Ambassador Application

To become an official IChC local ambassadors, please fill out the application form below for the 1st stage of the application process. The IChC coordinators will review your application and, if successful, invite you to the 2nd stage of the application process.

Full Name

IMPORTANT: Make sure to write your full name (forename and surname) correctly. Do not write in capital letters (Wrong: JOHN HENRY, Correct: John Henry). This name will be displayed on the IChC website.

Date of Birth

Information: We recommend you be at least 14 years old.

Country

City

Information: Please select the country and city in which you will be active as a local ambassador.

Name of School or University

Information: Please select or write down the school or university you are currently affiliated with.

Phone

Information: Please enter your phone number with country code (example: +49 123456789). Your phone number will not be displayed publicly.

E-Mail

Information: We will send you all important information to this e-mail address. Make sure to check the spam folder to receive e-mails from *@intchc.org!

Set Password

Information: Your password has to be at least eight characters long. You will need your password to log into your ambassador account: Login for Ambassador

Picture of You

Information: This picture will be used for your personal ambassador page, public relations work, and it will be publicly visible online. Please make sure to upload a professional and high-quality picture! (See Examples )

– Format: square (same width and height; preferably 400 x 400 pixels).
– No border, no blur, and no digital altering.
– No watermarks, text, or transparency.
– No inappropriate faces, poses, symbols, or clothing.
– Not too close or too far away from the camera.
– Positive facial expression and professional posture.

Application Letter

Information: Please upload a motivation letter (about one page; English language) that explains your reasons and your plans for becoming an IChC ambassador:

1. What is your main motivation and do you have prior experiences?
2. How can you inspire students in your region for chemistry and encourage them to participate?
3. What activities are you planning to organize as an IChC ambassador?
4. How many students do you think can you reach?
