Greeting! My full name is Faizul Islam. I belongs to Rohingya ethnicity who has a deep root in Rakhine state of Myanmar. I was born and raised in the Kyaung Na Hpay village, Maungdaw but currently surviving in the world’s largest refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. At present, I am a Grade 11 student at Mimar Sinan Public High School under Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı. I also attend a private coaching school called Pyinnyar Shwe Oo. Alongside my formal education, I have completed the Refugee Higher Education Access Program (RhEAP), which is centrally administered by the OSUN Hubs for Connected Learning Initiatives and Bard College, New York, in collaboration with BRAC University in Bangladesh. Since November 2025, I have been working as an Ambassador for International Youth Math Challenge (IYMC). I am so delighted to join IChC to bring opportunities for my fellow marginalized students in the refugee camp. Moreover, I have been working as a Executive Director of Faiz Institute, which is working with the Rohingya refugee children to ensure supportive and quality primary schooling in the world's largest refugee camp in Cox's Bazar Bangladesh. I am a dedicated higher secondary student with a strong foundation in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. I aspire to become a civil engineer so that I can hel help rebuild my home state, Arakan. Since the genocidal campaign against the innocent Rohingya minority began, my people and my homeland has suffered severe devastation and extermination. Through engineering, I hope to protect our land, rebuild our state, and create a sustainable future for our people.
