Md. Mehadi Masud is an international undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering at Changzhou University, China, originally from Bangladesh. His work focuses on carbon capture and CO₂ utilization, with research experience in Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for catalytic CO₂ conversion and emerging adsorption systems for efficient carbon capture. He has been recognized with the Jiangsu Government Scholarship and earned 2nd Prize in a national chemical engineering competition in China. He is a student member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AlChE) and the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChE). Masud is driven to bridge advanced chemical engineering research with real-world climate solutions. As an IChC Ambassador, he aims to expand access to international scientific opportunities and inspire students to engage in chemistry as a tool for global impact.
