My name is Shahm Nazzal, and I am a passionate chemistry enthusiast from Syria. For me, chemistry is more than just a subject at school; it is a way to understand the world around us and discover the hidden patterns that shape nature. This curiosity has motivated me to explore science deeply and to share this passion with others. Throughout my academic journey, I have participated in several scientific competitions, including the National Chemistry Olympiad and the Arab Chemistry Olympiad, where I earned a bronze medal. These experiences helped me develop strong analytical thinking, perseverance, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of chemistry. Beyond competing, I am actively involved in mentoring younger students who are preparing for science Olympiads. As an ambassador for the Syrian Scientific Olympiad in Hama Governorate, I work to encourage students to discover their potential and engage with science in a meaningful way. I also volunteer as a coach for chemistry and physics Olympiad teams across different age groups, where I focus on simplifying complex concepts and helping students build confidence in their abilities. I strongly believe that talented students everywhere deserve opportunities to grow and connect with the global scientific community. Through my work, I hope to inspire more young people to pursue science and discover their passion for chemistry.
