I am a gap-year student from Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a strong focus on chemistry and an interest in analytical problem-solving. This year, I competed in IChC 2026, advancing to the Final Round and earning a Silver Honour. Alongside my studies, I have supported classmates' academic development in chemistry — leading a peer revision class on redox reactions at my teacher's request, and tutoring friends through organic chemistry over remote calls before their exams. I see chemistry as a subject that rewards curiosity and careful reasoning, not memorization, and this is what first drew me to it. Having finished high school, I am currently in a gap year and preparing to begin a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, which gives me the time and focus to commit fully to this role. Through my work as an IChC Ambassador, I aim to help more students in Bangladesh discover this competition and build the confidence to engage with chemistry at a competitive level.
